The Feader Project
Context
Today’s manufacturers have to adapt to changing markets and consumer demand.
Consumers are now buying more responsibly and are paying more attention to the environmental impact of the products they consume.
The jams used to be placed in glass jars, which were then grouped six by six in a primary cardboard packaging (tray), itself packed in a secondary plastic packaging.
This material posed several concerns from an environmental point of view. In fact, its manufacture is based on oil-based, and the oil industry is extremely polluting.
Our ambitions
Confit de Provence wanted to modify its end-of-line process entirely, to use only 100% recyclable and bio-sourced materials. Recourse to 100% cardboard packaging.
Integration of the project into a sectoral dynamic
Confit de Provence mainly markets AB-labelled products, close to 80%. These investments have enabled the company to secure its future and contribute to the development of the organic sector.
