Our C.S.R Commitments
Ecology is part of our DNA. Since 2009 we have increased our efforts towards the environment by installing photovoltaic panels on the roof of our factory. Thanks to the Provençal sun, they cover more than 50% of our electricity needs. All our waste is carefully sorted and recycled, as is our wastewater, which is treated in a wastewater treatment plant. Our latest eco-innovation is the installation of a boiler that recovers heat from vapours to heat water for our sanitary facilities.
For many years now, we have been working hard to forge close relationships with our partner cooperatives and farmers. We consistently favour local or national supplies. When this is not possible, owing to quantity or quality, we look beyond our borders, with strict specifications and numerous controls.
All these steps, which enable us to move forward in the process of sustainable development, are essential to the company. Today, in addition to these actions, all our jams are certified preservative- and colouring-free. What’s more, finished product packaging, such as glass and cardboard, can be recycled.
